Its been a very warm week here in Valemount. Warm winds seems to have taken care of most of the lower valley snow and that certainly does not help our alpine access. On Saturday September 7th, VARDA will be hosting a sled area Work B and Cleanup. It will be a day long event and we are working on an evening get together. We would like to organize two work groups. One for the Clemina area and one for Allan Creek. The Clemina work group will focus on the collecting and processing firewood to fill the basement of the shelter....

In winter 2018/19 we saw a decrease of over 2300 user days to our managed areas. Operations began on Schedule with the first grooming and collections beginning on Dec 1.
