Its been a very warm week here in Valemount. Warm winds seems to have taken care of most of the lower valley snow and that certainly does not help our alpine access.
Weather wise, a frontal system will continue tracking across the interior today and over the weekend. Snow is expected for most interior ranges with the highest amounts near the Cariboo-Columbias which is a good thing for us, but forecasted freezing levels are still quite high unfortunately.
While snow levels should continue to build in the alpine, access will remain the issue.
